Gus was putting Gracie in her car seat the other night after we had been hanging out with friends. Well, Gus, being grateful to be out in the open air, as opposed to inside our friends home, took advantage of the opportunity and, for lack of a less offensive way to say this....broke wind.
I was sitting in the front seat oblivious to what was going on until I heard my daughter so sweetly chastise Gus saying, "Daddy, the stinky is gettin' in!"
As you can imagine I figured what was going on pretty quickly and Gus and I both busted up laughing.
(Lest you think I'm a horrible wife for posting these delicate or not-so-delicate things about my hubby, he has been telling his friends about it and has given me permission to do the same.)

Too funny!! He better give permission with what you have to put up with!
That's GREAT!! I am going to have to remember that one for my kiddos... they quite often let the stinky in!
HILARIOUS! Brian and I were just talking the other day about dropping "bombs" - we learned that one from Gus! We miss you three more than you know! Love ya lots!
Ha! Isn't it so funny the things kids say...and they say it so innocently :D
I'm betting it was our house, we have a bathroom policy for future reference:)
funny that gracie has learned about that "trick" already! nice!
This truly is great! Thanks to Gus, when it comes time for Gracie to date, she will have seen, heard, and smelt it all. :) J/K Gas, I mean, Gus, you know I love ya, stinky and all.
Now there's the Gus I remember! Just when you think you might have pulled one over on the kids they surprise you and show you how smart they are and you aren't.
That's my Gracie!! I knew it wouldn't take her long to catch on to the ways of life!! We miss you guys so much! I'll definitely call if we make it to Colorado!
