The "Fier" Fairy....

It is a sad day for some and happy for others.....
The Pacifier Fairy has come to our house and taken the last pacifier away to give to another baby that needs one.

We had Gracie put her "fier" in a cute bag and hang it on her door and told her the "fier"fairy was going to come and take her fier and leave her a suprise.
She said she wanted the fier fairy to bring her a tiger. I thought a tiger was a little random, but she was set on that.
The fier fairy was able to find a tiger...and a lion and an elephant and a giraffe and a zebra.
Gracie was quite thrilled with her new collection of zoo animals. She does miss her fier though and takes a bit longer (quite a bit longer) to fall asleep, but I'm sure that will get better.
She is doing much better than we anticipated. We are very proud of our big girl.

Next task to tackle....POTTY TRAINING.
I just wish there was a potty training fairy.
Wish us luck!

Hooray for no more "fier!" We have yet to tackle potty-training as well--although I did tell Ethan that once this box of diapers is gone, I'm not buying any more!

Poor Gracie. She is going to have nightmares about some crazy fairy lady coming and stealing her pacifier. There are going to be years of therapy for attachment issues. :) Just kidding! I think this is such a clever way to help her say goodby to her "feir". Don't be surprised if she starts chewing on the tiger, though. :)

i like the 'fier fairy' idea. i'll have to use that sometime if we ever have a problem with it. also, good luck with potty training. cold turkey works the best...at least that's what i've concluded after talking to lots of ladies about it. and it worked really well for lexi.

Yeah, Gracie!!!! It took Tyson a couple of weeks to figure out how to fall asleep good after I took it away but then it was all over and done with!!!:)

You were a lot nicer with the fier than we were...glad that she is doing so well. Good luck with the potty training. It usually isn't too fun for a couple of days but they catch on pretty quick.

You guys are pretty darn creative! I'm glad it worked for you. I plan on using this idea if I ever have binkie lover!
