So, I often wish that I had a video camera on Gracie 24/7 because of all the funny, cute things she does. She is always making us laugh. She loves to make us laugh. I don't want to forget a thing that she does. She's simply hilarious!
1) Gracie loves to sing in the car and she's really into making up her own songs. So the other day we were on our way to Walmart and she was singing at the top of her lungs when she broke out into a song that I especially liked. It went like this:
" I love my daddy, I love my daddy, I love my daddy, he's so pretty, he's so pretty, he's so pretty..." then she stops and says to me "Mommy.... daddy's so pretty."
(Gus liked the song too)
2)While we were in Arizona Gracie got used to hearing her daddy called Uncle Gus. So again we were driving somewhere and she's says "Lowie...(she calls me that sometimes, usually when she's about to ask a very important question) where's Uncle Gus?"
3) She is now starting to get into princesses and pretending she's an animal, so the other night she decided to combine the two and be a "princess kitty". It just happend to be right when we were getting ready to say prayers and the only way she would come kneel down was when we told her that princess kitties kneel down when they pray. So she knelt down and began to pray in the best princess kitty impression she could muster. The prayer sounded something like this:
"Meow,meow......meow,meow, meow.......meow, meow, meeeeeooooow!"
Needless to say we were laughing throughout the entire prayer.
Other stuff:
- She loves Barney and gives him (the tv, really) hugs and kisses when he sings the "I love you " song.
- Applepus=octopus
- Chips are still called rocket chips
- She loves to tell jokes. This is what she says: "mommy, I try a joke", which is followed by some recognizable words mixed with a lot of jibberish and then she pauses and then busts out laughing.
- She loves to "whistle" and before she does she says to me: "Mommy....I want to whistle", I say "ok then, whistle" which is then followed by a loud high pitched "woo woo" and then of course a big, satisfied, smile.
We love our little girl and never tire of talking about her;)

Kaily does the whole princess and something else thing too. The only difference is, for us to get her to do anything we want her to do we have to refer to her by whatever name she has chosen to go with it. I love being a mom!

WHAT. A. CUTIE! I laughed out loud about her kitty prayer and her song about how pretty Gus is. I wish you had a video camera 24/7 too so we could see it all in person!

Oh my gosh, I was laugh SO HARD at the kitty prayer!! HAHA!!! I just may have to tell that story! :)
She is a singer/songwriter/actress/etc etc.. what an amazing little GEM she is! :) hahaha
