GRACIE AND HER FRIENDS:
We went bowling with the Riches. Gracie's first time. She loved it and did really well. Gracie and her friend Ethan dressing up in animal hats and necklaces. They have so much fun!
GRACIE'S 2ND BIRTHDAY:
Shrek graced our presence at Gracie's birthday in the form of plates, napkins, cups, party favors and even a cake.
I'm no cake decorator....I"m just glad I didn't have to make a princess. Gracie was excited about her "cake Shrek" though.
GRACIE'S HAIRCUT:
So we got Gracie's hair all chopped off. It was MUCH shorter than I wanted it to be and it's taken me a little while to get used to it but I like it more and more. And it'll be cute when it grows out too.
STUFF THAT MAKES US LAUGH:
- Chocolate and all other chips are called "rocket chips".
- When she says "double pizza" in as many different voices that she can think of.
- When she sings at full voice in restraunts and grocery stores and knows the words to all our favortie songs.
- When she says " boobies" while our home teacher is over.
- When she yells "cock-a-doodle doo" in the middle of our Christmas Program at church.
- When she says (quite loudly, I might add) "Gracie toot toot" in the middle of Sacrament Meeting.
- When we go upstairs to see why she's not asleep for her nap yet and she's got nothing but a shirt on and says "I pee".
- When she helps mommy unload the silverware. (It all ends up in a mess in the drawer, but she gets it in the right drawer and then all I have to do is sort it. So it really does help.)
- When she quotes Shrek movies by saying "I'm an Ogre...ARRR" and "play the movie...YAH..play" or "wanna dance... pretty boy?"
- When she says "have good time" whenever one of us leaves.
- Music is called "mucus".
- A swimming pool is called "fishing pool"

Gracie's haircut is seriously SOOOO adorable. She is such a cutie and sounds like she's talking so much. I love it!
I LOVE the Shrek cake! You did a great job! Only a great mother would take those kinds of pains to make her daughter's birthday so fun! Oh, and I love Gracie's haircut...it's cute!
oh, it sounds like you're having so much fun!! I can't believe Gracie is 2!! Remember that surfing pic we tried to take at Muirs pool and I was trying to anchor the kickboard under her toes and it totally didn't work? hahaha, that was fun. She was just a baby.
Aaaawww . . I loved reading the list of things Gracie does that you love. I want more! So, you've got two pics of the haircut. I clicked on both to see them larger. The first one is of the back, and I admit my eyes bulged out of my head. That is SHORT! But the front pic was so glamorous that I fell in love with it. It's a very grown-up cut - adorable. I'm starting to lOvE it!
I will always remember that the first time I met you and Gus was at the group dinner where you announced you were pregnant. You said you had a "walnut" inside of you, because that's how big she was. Sweet!
