Christmas at our house

My sister and her family of 7 came and my brother and his family of 7 came for Christmas. Are we a Mormon family or what?! I love it.

It was so fun and I miss them. ( See how I really feel about them being gone on my private, non-family blog. Totally kidding Richard and Kathy and Families. I love you guys)

Christmas Eve we cooked all day and had a dinner made of appetizers followed by a talent show and then a Nativity reenactment. I'm not sure it was exactly the way it happened in the scriptures, especially the part where Joseph ran off with a shepherd. That was a little different.

Christmas was so fun. We opened presents which was an adventure. Who invented noisy toys??? Who was that??? I need to have a talk with them.

Santa had to leave his presents for everyone in an entirely different room because there was no room in the front room left. Seventeen different peoples presents can really add up.

Dinner was delicious. With all the yummy fixins, even 2 different kinds of stuffing....thanks to Gus and Kathy. And only a few things boiled over. :) Ask Gus and Kathy about that too.

It snowed like crazy on Christmas, so much so that we were able to go sledding in our very own backyard.

Anyway, I would do it all over again in a heartbeat. I'm pretty sure my parents were both there too. They were probably laughing quite a bit at us and as Richard pointed out my dad was probably telling my mom how they were responsible for all of this. ;)
(More Christmas pictures coming....)
