I just don't know where she gets it.....

Some of you are aware of the growing mischievousness that is now inhabiting Gracie.
Some of you are not. I, myself am still getting used to it.
Let me inform you.

We now have to make sure that any room that has lotion, shampoo or anything that can be smeared on her self or her dolls is locked, especially when she's supposed to be going to sleep.
Last night, for instance, I forgot to lock our bedroom door, and for a little girl that can be so VERY loud, she snuck into our room with ninja stealth and got into our lotion. She was careful to take it back to her bed though so she wouldn't be caught out of bed.
She smeared our expensive lotion all over her hair and her Cinderella Barbie's hair. This was probably about the 4th time she's done this just with the lotion. One time she used the entire rest of the bottle with was about 2/3 full.

She has been known to sneak into the bathroom and do the same with soap and shampoo.

She has also been known to take scissors to her cousin's Cinderella dress and her mommy's shirt. When I noticed the silence I panicked and called to her asking what she was doing. "Oh, I'm just cuttin". Her truthfulness shining through.

Let's see, there's the permanent marker on our hardwood floors, the stuffing that was pulled out of the couch cushions, the marker on some friends leather couch, the rice dumped all over the floor, numerous chap stick massacres, water dumped on he floor (although that is comparatively minuscule), a missing box of brand new Popsicles (strange how I've been finding Popsicle wrappers everywhere), the cups of sand in her and her cousins hair (although I knew about this-you have to pick your battle though) and numerous other things I simply can't keep up with. All of the above within a 2 week period.

Ahhhh, my sweet little girl.
She's no less sweet, only I am quickly learning that I can't leave her alone for more than 2 minutes without checking on her. Sometimes that's too long.

I just don't know where she gets all this mischievousness from.

It is starting to dawn on me a little though. This is me.

At least it's not ALL over her face.

Gracie reminds me of one of my little sisters. Just be aware of the lotion/baby powder combination and the vasaline/window screen combination :)

I like hearing these funny stories. She must really like creamy textures to be so busy with lotion and shampoo! And I love that you're finding popcicle wrappers all over the house. Also, from the sidebar, how cute that she thanked Heavenly Father for her cute buns. Ha ha ha!
Miss you!

Silly girl! Hopefully the excitement of it will wear off soon for her.

I think I know what to get her for her next birthday: travel-size lotion!

Just joking. Hey, at least she's interested in exploring and doesn't just sit there bored in front of the telly all day :D

What a curious little cutie! I hope she goes through this phase quickly for your sake :) In the meantime, try to enjoy it because in 20 years you'll laugh and be really happy you documented all her mischievous adventures. We miss you guys!
