It is soo very strange to actually write that. I can't believe I said goodbye to my 20's on Monday. I am usually very excited for my birthday to come and while this year I was still excited I have to say that I didn't start the countdown until a week or two before instead of the usual month before.
I remember thinking how old 30 sounded growing up and while I certainly don't feel old it still sounds old to me. It's soooo weird.
But I have personally decided that 30 is the new 20 and I'm going to make this coming decade a fantastic one!
My sister (from Arizona) showed up on my doorstep on my birthday. It was awesome!!!!! She brought her little girl and Gracie and Bekah had so much fun! So did we! She got to stay from Monday until Thursday. It was such a great suprise and Gus did a great job of keeping it from me.
For my birthday I got an American Doll (from my brother and his family), a sweet slideshow about Gracie and me from my sister and from Gracie a Target gift card and from Gus a manicure/pedicure and some thread for my new serger. And from some sweet friends: I got some bath and body works soap (thanks Jen) and bath salts (thanks Angie R.)YAY! It was a very nice 30th birthday.
My sister and I had some fun taking pictures of our cute girls and when I get more from her I will post them.

Happy b-day! My 30th is approaching this July and it is definitely surreal! I'm glad that you had such a wonderful surprise for yours. Sounds like you get to pamper yourself with your presents too- perfect!
Nakie pics of kids are the best! Glad you had a great birthday. AND I'm so excited that our "camping" in May will now be with toilets, showers, and bunks!!!! YIPPEEEE! I was ready to be a trooper and really camp but I am soooo relieved!
HAPPY 30th...welcome to the club! Funny how it seems old, but then you get there and you still feel (and look, of course) so young! Glad you had a good day...if it makes you feel any better, you still look 29 to me :-)
